1. Total Site Clearance

Total site clearance includes clearing all trees and brush from a select area. Once the area is cleared, we rough grade to allow for planting grass, and access for the next phase of contractors to easily navigate the site.

Types of Total Site Clearance Projects:

  • Pasture field clearing
  • Home building site clearing
  • Right of Way Clearing

2. Selective Clearing

Selective clearing removes trees, undergrowth, or brush from a select area. If you have invasive growth from trees or a wooded area cluttering the property, selective clearing is for you!

Selective Clearing Projects:

  • Removal of invasive trees
  • Removal of large stands of dead or diseased trees
  • Removal of a certain species to allow desired growth to proliferate. For example, the removal of black locust trees could allow the higher-value oak trees to grow unobstructed.

If you have specific questions about your property, please give us a call. We would be happy to help!

3. Brush Mowing and Ground Clearance

Brush mowing and ground clearance is the mowing down of small trees, shrubs, and brush, leaving the mowings on site. At Vaughan’s, we use forestry mulching. This process allows us to grind the debris and spread it over the land, creating a natural mulch.

Brush Mowing and Ground Clearance Projects:

  • Clearing wooded understory to remove invasive trees and brush
  • Clearing new or existing paths of overgrowth or fallen trees to reestablish the clear-cut that was there previously
  • Clearing trees impeding in pasture fields
  • Cleaning up excess fallen trees from a site to prevent fire hazards and ground obstructions
