Land Clearing
Land clearing can take on many different levels of project size and service. We offer 3 different types of clearing service.
- Total Site Clearance
- Selective Clearing
- Brush Mowing and Ground Clearance
Total Site Clearance would include the clearing of all trees, brush, and stumps from a select area. For this type of service, we are best suited to handle areas of 5 acres and under. Once the area is cleared of all tree material, we can rough grade to allow for planting of grass, access for next phase contractors to easily navigate the site, or if finish grading is necessary, we have contractors that we work with to help complete the project.
Types of projects include but are not limited to the following:
- Pasture field fence line clearing.
- Reclaiming abandoned or neglected areas of property
- Home building site clearing
- Vista Clearing to open up hidden views
- Right of Way Clearing
- Clearing embankments for clearance of structures
Selective Clearing is removing only certain types of trees, undergrowth, or brush form a select area. Examples would include but are not limited to the following:
- Removal of invasive trees
- Removal of large stands of dead or diseased trees
- Removal of a certain species to allow desired growth to proliferate. An example of such clearing would be the removal of black locust trees to allow higher value oak trees to grow unobstructed.
Brush Mowing and Ground Clearance would be the mowing down of small trees, shrubs, and brush and leaving the mowings on site. Examples would include but are not limited to the following:
- Clearing wooded understory to remove invasives that can choke out native growth
- Clearing new or existing paths of overgrowth or fallen trees
- Cleaning up excess fallen trees from a site to prevent fire hazards and ground obstructions.
