Is your Hemlock tree at Risk???

Is your hemlock tree at risk???

The Hemlock tree is a very well-known conifer across the United States and Canada. In fact, the Eastern Hemlock Tree is the official State Tree of Pennsylvania. They are a very poplar tree for yards and landscapes because of their versatility. They are often used as landscape features, natural screens, hedge rows, wind breaks, or stand alone trees.

Unfortunately they also play host to a pest called the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (See picture of… infested tree with white waxy material along the base of the needles and the same tree treated 1 year later). Infestations can quickly become severe and cause decline and death if not treated.

Our Plant Health Care division can diagnose, treat, and monitor your hemlock trees to protect your investment.
